Stanley and Shirley (Beck) Hughes have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on August 4, 1970 in Greenwood and married by Marly Lesiter.
The couple are celebrating with an open house on October 3 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Faith Community Church, located at 6801 S. East St., Indianapolis.
Both Stanley and Shirley are retired.
They have one child, Ethan Hughes and one grandchild.
