GREENWOOD, INDIANA

Beulah Mae (Green) Reed was a loving mother and grandmother that entered into eternal rest at the age of 89 on December 4th, 2020. She was born to the late Floyd and Bessie Green of Welch, Virginia on May 19th, 1931.

She was a member of Northern Park Baptist Church for many years and loved all of her brothers and sisters in her congregation. She was employed throughout her years at Sanders Cleaners in Greenwood. She was employed for 14 years as a cashier & pharmacy assistant at Haags Drugs at the Wilgrow Shopping Center in Greenwood. She later retired from Greenwood Village South after 19 years of service at the age of 79 years old. For her service, she received many Peak Performance Awards by the residents and administrators throughout the years.

Her hobbies included her large vintage hat collection, her cookie jar collection, her ceramic duck collection, and completing word-find puzzles. But most of all, her love of working with flowers and watching birds & butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Reed Sr.; her son, Randall Reed; her five brothers, Robie Green, Thomas Green, Andrew Green, Floyd Green, Calvin Green; her four sisters, Minnie Wyatt, Wanda Kulke, Mary Green, Clarice Green.

Beulah is survived by her three sons, Edwin (Diane) Reed, of Whiteland, Indiana, Leon (Nancy) Reed, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Robert L. Reed Jr., of Greenwood, Indiana. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Chris Reed, Devon Harris, Mike Reed, Lacey Clements, Wayne Reed, Ryan Reed, Dustin Reed, Amanda Cooper, and a joyful 17 great-grandchildren, 29 nieces, and 13 nephews. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends, whom she loved so much.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. Burial to follow the funeral at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.

Per the Indiana State Governor, Eric Holcomb, and the Indiana State Department of Health’s mandate, all services and visitations are limited to 50 people or less as of November 15th, 2020. Masks are mandatory and are to be worn at all times.
