GREENWOOD
David P. White, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
He was born on December 3, 1935 in Muncie, the son of Emmitt and Edna (Hines) White. He worked in the respiratory department at Community Hospital in Anderson and Marion General Hospital and also in the x-ray department at St. Johns Hospital. Following that he worked 30 years at Delco Remy in Anderson, retiring in 1994. He attended Muncie First Brethren Church and loved antique cars, especially his 56 Chevy.
David is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy (Keith) White of Greenwood;four children, David Keith (James Capps- White) White of Greenwood, Elizabeth (James) Garrett of Yorktown, Scott (Bonnie) White of Indianapolis, and Gregory White of Muncie;four grandchildren, Matthew (Kalie) Garrett, Lora (Andrew) Black, Benjamin (fianc?e, Savannah) Garrett, Liam White;three great grandchildren, Regan, Emmitt and Elliot June.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 12-2 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson.
A private family funeral services will be held and burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Wounded Warriors in memory of David.
