FRANKLIN
Marla Ann Hash, 79 of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
She was born on November 9, 1941 in Franklin, Indiana to Marlin H. and Virginia (McDonald) Prince. She married John Denzil Hash on December 6, 1957. He preceded her in passing on June 17, 1987. Marla is survived by sons, John M. Hash (Jo Ann), Dennis J. Hash (Candy) and Mark A. Hash (Mandy); grandchildren, Janelle Jackson, John W. Hash, Jeffrey Hash, Kayla Ann Kuntz, Alexis Hash, Morgan Hash and Jenna Hash; sisters, Jane Cunningham (Larry DeVoss), Holly Caughey (Dr. Ben C. Caughey) and sister-in-law, Betty Graham. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Denzil and brother, Donald Mac Prince.
Marla attended Franklin Community Schools and Nineveh Schools.
She was elected in November of 1994 and served as the Johnson County Assessor until her retirement in 2008.
She was a member of Fair Haven Christian Church. Marla was a very loving daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She truly enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events thru the years.
A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 19th at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin are honored to assist the family with arrangements.
