MORGANTOWN, IN
Debra A. (Smith) Henricks 73 of Morgantown, IN passed away Thursday December 24, 2020 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community. She was born January 23, 1947 to Lowell and Betty (Tracy) Smith. She married Walter C. Henricks on February 23, 1980 at Franklin Memorial Christian Church in Franklin, IN, he preceded her in death on October 3, 2012. She was a graduate of Franklin Community High School. She owned and operated Morning Side Gardens and Nursery in Morgantown. She enjoyed growing hostas, lilies and collecting antique glassware. Survivors include her son Douglas Lowell Henricks of Lexington, KY, a daughter Laura Henricks, a brother Tracy Smith (Debbie) of Morgantown, IN, three grandchildren Gabriel Smithers, Kasey Henricks and Elizabeth Shearer, two nephews Scott Billington and Joe Coffee, and several cousins. A service will be conducted on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/debra-henricks.
