David Lee Hill, 79 of Taylorsville, passed away December 21, 2020 at his residence.
</p>
<p>
Born June 22, 1941 in Columbus David was the son of Harold Lee and Evelyn Jeannette Elliott Hill. He married Mary Fay Bierlein February 19, 1965 and she survives.
</p>
<p>
Other survivors include, children, Carl Hill of Taylorsville, Evelyn Hill Dutcher of Columbus and Lisa Hill Ferguson of Seymour; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Debbie (Roger) Robinette of Elizabethtown.
</p>
<p>
David retired from Cummins. He was in the U.S. Navy, a member of Edinburgh Masonic Lodge and the Edinburgh American Legion.
</p>
<p>
He loved to play golf, watch NASCAR and operate his hand radio.
</p>
<p>
There will be visitation for David Monday January 4 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. There will be a private family service. Burial of David’s cremains will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery with military graveside rites performed.
</p>
<p>
Memorial contributions may be donated to American Diabetes Association or donor’s choice of charity.
</p>
<p>
David was preceded in death by his parents and infant twins.
</p>
<p>
Due to Covid restrictions masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and the cemetery.
</p>
