James A. Lunt 80 of New Whiteland, IN passed away Monday December 14, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. He was born May 10, 1940 in Bowen, IL to Forrest C. and Chrystine (Jackson) Lunt. He married the love of his life, Jean (Wild) Lunt, on October 29, 1960 in Quincy, IL. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2014. He graduated from Bowen Community High School in 1958. He attended West Illinois University. In 1960, he began his life long career in the contact lens industry. He was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church in Greenwood, IN. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Survivors include his son Dennis Lunt (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN, grandson Griffin Lunt of Indianapolis, IN, a brother Larry Lunt (Katy) of Quincy, IL, sister Sharon Milligan (Bruce) of Avon, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and younger brother Rick Lunt. Services were private. Inurnment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
