Patt J. (Dornhecker) Thompson 67, of Greenwood, IN passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born October 24, 1953 in Massillon, OH to Vince and Jeannette (Stankovich) Dornhecker. She married Shannon C. Thompson on June 23, 2001 in Louisville, OH, he survives. She was a graduate of Massillon Washington High School in Massillon, OH where she was a majorette. She attended the University of Akron. She had worked in the legal field in various positions over the years. She was a member of College Park Church Greenwood where she was active in the card ministry. She enjoyed traveling and especially visiting lighthouses. She was a member of the United States Lighthouse Society. Patt loved music and playing the saxophone. She was a dedicated and loving mother and supportive in her daughter’s life. She loved her fur baby Faith and with her late fur baby Abbey they visited various health care facilities where they provided love and companionship. Survivors include her husband Shannon C. Thompson of Greenwood, IN, her children Stefanie R. Ward Workman (Joe) of Louisville, OH, Bradley W. Thompson of Ft. Myers, FL, Justin R. Thompson (Becky) of Greenwood, IN and Nicole T. Bryant (Shaywon) of Greenwood, IN, ten grandchildren Grace Farmer (Charles), Renee Thompson, Samuel Thompson, Lila Thompson, Logan Workman, Maggie Thompson, Banner Bryant, Harper Workman, Hailey Workman and Bodhi Bryant, a great granddaughter Allison Farmer and a brother Terry Dornhecker (Sheri) of Bolivar, OH and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pastors Ben Parker and Joe Bartemus will conduct a service on Monday January 18, 2020 at 1PM at College Park Church Greenwood 1222 Demaree Road Greenwood, IN where friends may call from 11AM on Monday till service time at the church and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at www.greenwood.yourchurch.com/live. Due to COVID-19 Mandates, facial covering or mask along with social distancing is required for those attending. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
