Edith Iva (Allison) Conrow, 93, of Franklin, Indiana passed away, Friday Jan. 15, 2021 in Franklin.
</p>
<p>
She was born August 22, 1927 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late Royal G. and Iva B. (Waggonner) Allison.
</p>
<p>
Edith was married to the late Keith H. Conrow, they were married for 66 years.
</p>
<p>
She was a loving and dedicated first grade teacher with the Clark-Pleasant Community Schools for 31 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Johnson County Retired Teachers Association, where she was very active in the Pencil Project for first graders.
</p>
<p>
She was also a longtime member of the Whiteland United Methodist Church.
</p>
<p>
Edith enjoyed reading, cooking and baking cookies. She loved her family and spending time with all her children and grandchildren.
</p>
<p>
Edith is survived by her son, D. Bruce ( Ann) Conrow of Greenwood, two daughters, Christine A. (Mike) Tasich of Franklin and Laura A. (Todd) Austin of Whiteland, a sister, Doris Powell of Florida, four grandchildren, Beth (Charles) Manzione, Amy (Aaron) Root, Karen (Charles) Linville, and Sarah (Eugene) Vivo and 11 great-grandchildren, Emma, Kate and Ben Manzione, Ross and A.J Linville and Isaac and Lauren Vivo, Micheal and Josie Root and Alex and Tucker Tasich.
</p>
<p>
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Opal Radcliffe and Willoughby Steckley, and grandson, Andy Tasich.
</p>
<p>
The family is planning a memorial service this spring in May.
</p>
<p>
Memorial contributions may be donated in Edith’s honor to Johnson County Animal Shelter or Salvation Army-Johnson County.
</p>
