CG’s Prusiecki wins sectional crown
Center Grove freshman Mia Prusiecki dominated the field during Friday’s diving sectional at Franklin, rolling to victory with an 11-dive score of 492.85. Prusiecki easily outdistanced runner-up Midori Adams of Perry Meridian (420.55).
Also advancing to Tuesday’s Jasper Regional were two other county freshmen, Ella Taylor of Indian Creek (406.65) and Camryn Quiggins of Franklin (365.85). The top four there will advance to next weekend’s state meet.
The swimming finals will take place today beginning at 1 p.m.

Cougars get past Metropolitan
Greenwood Christian picked up a 70-56 home win over Indianapolis Metropolitan on Friday night. Styles McCorkle led the Cougars (11-5) with 21 points, while Blake Shewmaker and Isaiah Davis were close behind with 19 apiece.
