Greenwood outslugs Falcons

Ethan King and Micah Vessely each drove in four runs to help power Greenwood to a 14-7 triumph over Perry Meridian on Tuesday. King and Eli Mason each had three hits for the Woodmen (5-6, 3-1 Mid-State)

Girls tennis

Trojans edged by Panthers

No. 15 Center Grove lost against No. 12 Park Tudor on Tuesday, 3-2. Emerson Donaldson was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at third singles for the Trojans, while Kenna Harbin and Anna Runkle added a 6-0, 6-4 victory at second doubles.

Boys golf

Woodmen fall to Quakers

Kalen Rowland was the medalist with a 36, but Greenwood fell short as a team in a 153-174 loss to Martinsville on Tuesday. Davis Arthur added a 41 and Jahlen Burton shot 47 for the Woodmen.

Boys volleyball

Warriors swept by Flashes

Whiteland suffered a 25-23, 25-22, 25-17 loss against Franklin Central on Tuesday. The Warriors are 14-12 on the year.
