EDINBURGH, INDIANA

Carlos B. Wall, 77, a resident of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed from this life at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his home.
</p>
<p>
Mr. Wall was born September 9, 1943, in Gilpin, Kentucky, the son of Forrest and Euallie Cravins Wall. On August 3, 1991, Carlos married Gail S. Cody; she survives.
</p>
<p>
At the age of 17, Mr. Wall enlisted in United States Army, he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He rose to the rank of Private First Class and was honorably discharged November 11, 1963.
</p>
<p>
Mr. Wall worked in bridge construction with Laborers Union Local 741 for many years. He enjoyed membership in the Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance, National Kennel Club and the ACE Coon Club. Mr. Wall loved life, people, and animals of all kinds. He was a beagle and coon dog hunter, he loved to make people laugh and tell jokes and he was known as a strong Democrat.

<p>
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Gail; stepdaughter, Erin (Jason) Chelf of Columbus, Indiana; brothers, Edward Elmore, Forrest Wall Jr. and Caroll Wall all of Kentucky; sisters, Ruby Buis and Kathy Snow both of Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
</p>
<p>
Mr. Wall was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Euallie Wall; brother, Bobbie Wall; sister, May Buis; and his stepson, Steve Pickett.
</p>
<p>
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Garland Brook Cemetery, 501 North Gladstone Avenue, Columbus, Indiana 47201. Full military honors will be presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people at the cemetery. We do ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines and masks are required.
</p>
<p>
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 East 17th Street, Columbus, Indiana 47201 or cards are available at the funeral home.
</p>
