<p>Franklin College</p><p><strong>Softball sweeps Bluffton</strong></p><p>Alisha Burch tossed a four-hit shutout, striking out seven, to set the tone as Franklin College swept a Saturday doubleheader against visiting Bluffton, 9-0 and 8-5.</p><p>Natalie Weber had three doubles and five RBIs on the day for the Grizzlies (5-3), while Abby Hickson drove in four runs.</p><p><strong>Baseball splits with Anderson</strong></p><p>Franklin College rallied from four runs down in the sixth inning to earn a 9-6 win over Anderson in the first game of a twinbill. The Grizzlies (3-3) dropped the nightcap, 11-8.</p><p>Sean Sullivan had an RBI triple and a three-run homer on the day.</p><p><strong>Men’s soccer suffers setback</strong></p><p>Though Dany Escamilla scored his first career goal, Franklin College took a 2-1 home loss to Mount St. Joseph. The Grizzlies remain winless at 0-4.</p><p><strong>Women’s lacrosse comes up short</strong></p><p>Franklin College lost at Concordia (Chicago), 11-2. Abbey Voss scored both goals for the Grizzlies (0-2).</p>
