<p>Track and field</p><p><strong>Warriors sweep three-way</strong></p><p>Host Whiteland won its first outdoor meet of the season on Monday, defeating Franklin and Perry Meridian. The Warrior boys outpointed the Grizzly Cubs, 67-61, while the girls won by a 68-63.5 margin.</p><p>Bella Jackson paced the Warrior girls with wins in the 100-meter dash, 300 hurdles and high jump, while Gabi Allen (100 hurdles, 200), Claire Overfelt (3,200) and Drew Mallory (discus) also finished first. Whiteland also won the 4×100 and 4×800 relays.</p><p>Tristan Thomas won the 200, 110 hurdles and long jump for the Whiteland boys, who also won the 4×800 relay and got victories from Gunnar Hicks (400), Michael Perkins (1,600), Ashton Spoonamore (3,200), Tayton Schakel (discus), Desmen Singleton (pole vault).</p><p>Franklin’s boys won the 4×400 relay and got individual victories from Gavin Wilson (110 hurdles), Greg Hueston (300 hurdles), Ethan Pheifer (800), Jacob Wagner (shot put) and Jumpshot Warner (high jump). The Grizzly Cub girls were led by wins from Lauren Klem (800 and 1,600), Alyssa Henderson (400), Jaclyn Boardman (pole vault) and the 4×400 relay.</p>
