David William Harold

David William “Will” Harold, 51, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was a resident of Greenwood.

He was born October 3, 1969 in Indianapolis to David and Pamela (Tinkle) Harold. He married Kristina “Kristi” Caffey on November 20, 1993 at the Greenwood United Methodist Church. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, McKenzie Harold of Greenwood; two sons, Dalton Harold and Colby Harold of Greenwood; parents, David and Pamela Harold of Greenwood; four sisters, Kimberly (Jeff) Purkhiser of Greenwood, Kellie (Tony) Colson of Danville, Katrina (Greg) Prine of Greenwood, and Krista (Kevin) Watt of Greenwood; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Gregory II., Megan, William, Brandon, Abigail, Alyssa, Josh, Sophia, Ethan, Erika, Kaylie, and Brayton; great nieces and nephews Bennett, Lucas, Rileigh, Gregory III, Zoey, and Kayden.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, H. Sam and Arveta Tinkle, and Raymond R. and Bonnie Harold.

He was a 1988 graduate of Center Grove High School. He also attended Indiana Technical Community College.

Prior to starting his own business, Harold Construction, Dave “Will” worked several years in HVAC installation, then moved into accessibility remodeling. Most recently, he worked with Distinctive Kitchen and Bath.

Known for his selflessness, character, courage, honesty, humbleness, warrior spirit, fighter mentality, and eagerness to help others, Dave “Will” will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know him.

Visitation will take place from 1-7 PM, Sunday, July 11, at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street. Reverend Mike Mercer will officiate a funeral service at 10:30AM, Monday at the funeral home, with burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
