GREENWOOD
Elizabeth L. “Betsy” Brodie, 88, of Greenwood, passed away on August 5, 2021. She was born on March 1, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Harold and Regina (Farlee) Emrick.
Betsy was a member of the Red Hat Society and Beech Grove Kiwanis.
Betsy is survived by her daughters, Dyann (Tom) Johnson, Linda (Jim) Anderson, Peggy (Chuck) Peckham, Susan (Mike) Reedy, Jennifer (Al) Greer, and Sheila (John) Kaellner, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, David Emrick; and sisters in law, Mary Emrick and Bernice Emrick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Brodie; a grandson; one sister; and four brothers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
Betsy will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Indiana or the Wheeler Mission Ministries.
