Dunkle to serve on Franklin College board of trustees

The president and CEO of Johnson Memorial Health has been elected to the Franklin College Board of Trustees.

Dr. David Dunkle graduated Franklin College in 1994 as the school’s first Academic All-American and NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipient. He went to medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dunkle served for 16 years as the Franklin College Health Center’s visiting physician, according to a Franklin College news release.

Dunkle will serve a three-year term. His responsibilities will include working with other board members to institute and support fundraising efforts, establish and review education programs, approve academic degrees and establish the college’s annual budget, the news release said.
