GREENWOOD
Judith Ann Hoff Padgett, 81 of Indianapolis, passed away October 3, 2021 at Greenwood Village. She was born February 13, 1940 to the late John Hoff and Mildred (Rush) Hoff. Judy was a graduate of St. Mary Academy in Indianapolis and Marion University. She later went on to get a second degree from the University of Indianapolis. She retired from National City Bank where she was Vice President of her own branch. Judy was a long-time member of Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for over 30 years.
She loved singing, playing the piano and volunteering her time to multiple ministries. Judy was described as kind, generous and loving, and her memory will be forever cherished by her loving family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Albert Padgett, her son John Padgett, her brother Dale Hoff, her sister Sheila Hoff and her sister Cynthia Hoff McDaniel.
Survivors include her son Jim Padgett (Sandy), daughter Sheila Padgett, brothers Steve Hoff (Lora), Rick Hoff (Lynn) and Chris Hoff (Jeannette), sisters Janice Hoff Richardson, and Mary Jo Hoff, grandsons John Padgett (Julie), and Darian Padgett, granddaughter Megan Padgett, daughter in-law Debra Padgett Brodie, one sister in-law, one brother in-law, and lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday October 11, 2021 from 4-8 pm and at 7:30 pm the recitation of the Holy Rosary at O’Riley Funeral Home 6107 S. East St. Indianapolis, IN. With a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 10 am, Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church 335 S Meridian St, Greenwood, IN 46143.
