INDIANAPOLIS
Pauletta June Curry, 85, passed away October 4, 2021. She was born March 1, 1936 in Knightstown, IN, to the late Paul J. and Hilda K. Bell Donoho. Pauletta married Gene A. Curry, April 24, 1982, and he preceded her in death April 17, 2017. She was employed as an IT and payroll specialist for Synergistic Solutions, and prior to that she was employed with Haag Drug Co. and Bemis Co. as an administrative assistant. Pauletta was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Greenwood from 1971-1982, and a current member of Calvary Tabernacle since 1982. She was a Sunday school teacher for both Calvary Apostolic Church and Calvary Tabernacle, and an Assistant Director of the Singles Class. Pauletta and Gene were AIM Workers (Associates in Missions) to St. Croix in 1993, 1994 and 1995, as directors and teachers at the Lighthouse Bible School. She was also a volunteer for Oasis (Senior Citizens Organization).
Visitation will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Calvary Tabernacle, 902 Fletcher Ave.
Pauletta is survived by her devoted children, Debra L. Sowders (Gary), Bruce A. Waters (Karen), Garry W. Waters (Valerie) and Jerry L. Curry (Nikki); sister, Charlotte A. Ripps; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Darrell J. Billy A. and Phillip B. Donoho; stepson, Gary G. Curry; and grandchildren, Spc. James A. Waters, Kristal A. Waters and Jason Curry.
