GREENWOOD
Gregory Joseph Burgess, 62 of Greenwood; passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Leason and Doris (Scott) Burgess. He is survived by sister, Shirley Taylor in Port Richey, Florida; brother, Larry Burgess (Elise) of Franklin; Aunt, Mildred Scott of Glasgow, Kentucky and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in passing by his parents in 2001 and an infant brother, Gary Burgess.
Greg was a 1977 graduate of Immanuel High School. He graduated from Ivy Tech as a Surgical Technician.
Greg worked for St. Francis in Beech Grove and also at St. Francis South in Endoscopy as a surgical tech for many years.
He enjoyed music, football and baseball.
There will be no services at this time. Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
