David Jackson Beadle

David Jackson Beadle, 84, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away at Independence Village of Greenwood on Friday, December 17, 2021.

David was born on March 18, 1937 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Harry Logan and Wanda C. (Thomas) Beadle.

David proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Technical Sergeant after 20 years and 8 months of service. After retirement, David worked at Kawneer and Walmart. He was a member of Impact Christian Church and enjoyed researching genealogy in his spare time.

David is survived by his wife of 9 years, Alma Berenice Engelking-Beadle; daughter, Tina M. (William) Ray of Franklin; son, David L. Beadle of Columbus; step-sons, Henry (Terri Garrett) Engelking of Whiteland, Michael Engelking of New Hampshire, and Scott (Darlene) Engelking of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Shawna Graham, Amber Lucky, Devin Beadle, Lindsay Davonport, Stacy Beadle, Alyssa Duff, and Houston Engelking; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Spurgeon and Lydia Crossman; sister, Leah (Larry) Clubb of Illinois.

David was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Mae (Skaggs) Beadle; son, Andrew J. Beadle; grandson, William Tyler Ray; step-father, William A. Collins; brothers, Richard M. Collins, Ronald Lee Collins, and Joseph S. Collins.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Impact Christian Church, 2800 N. Graham Road, Franklin, IN 46131. Services will be at 3:30pm with full military honors at 3:45pm at the church.
