Lancers overwhelm Eagles
Class A No. 8 Edinburgh ended its regular season with a 91-37 stampede at Brown County on Wednesday evening. Jarrett Turner scored 24 points and Caleb Dewey 21 for the Lancers (19-3), who open sectional play at home against Trinity Lutheran next Tuesday.
Edinburgh also got 12 points from Connor Ramey, 11 from Travis Jones, 10 from Riley Palmeter and nine from Landen Burton.

CGAC to host ChaseStrong meet
Center Grove Aquatic Club will honor the life of late local swimmer Chase Smith when it hosts the Chasestrong Invitational this coming Sunday afternoon (1:15 p.m.) at the high school natatorium. Proceeds from the meet will go toward causes that were of particular importance to Smith, including a palliative care unit at Riley Hospital for Children, special needs activities at Indian Creek and the diving program at IUPUI.
