Warriors remain perfect

Whiteland kept its unbeaten start going with a doubleheader sweep at Plainfield on Tuesday, posting 3-2 and 4-2 victories. Senior Debbie Hill homered and struck out 11 in the opener for the Warriors (6-0, 3-0 Mid-State), while freshman Kiley Sullivan went the distance in the nightcap, fanning six.

Braves top Golden Arrows

Sam Boyd hit a two-run homer in the first inning to get Indian Creek started toward a 7-3 win over Sullivan on Tuesday. Arjun Lothe pitched a complete game for the Braves (4-3, 1-0 WIC).
