Keagan Rothrock threw a no-hitter and struck out 21 batters as Class 4A No. 1 Roncalli picked up a 6-0 victory over Penn on Friday. Rothrock, Cate Lehner and Kylie Freije each had a pair of hits for the Royals (8-0).
Trojans ground Orioles
Center Grove cruised to a 10-1 win over Avon on Thursday. Riley Henson earned the victory in the pitching circle for the Trojans (8-3), while Hannah Haberstroh scored three runs and Ashlynn Wolff drove in three.
Grizzly Cubs come up short
Franklin lost to Class 4A No. 8 Shelbyville on Thursday, 10-3. Mia Herbert hit a two-run homer for the Grizzly Cubs (4-7), with Kiera Lynn adding a solo shot.

A sweep of the singles matches propelled Edinburgh to a 3-2 win over Waldron on Friday. Bethany Burton and Jessica Walsh rolled in straight sets at first and second singles; the Lancers took the point at No. 3 by forfeit.
