Here’s the latest on I-69 construction in Johnson County

Johnson County drivers should prepare for night-time lane closures on State Road 37 as crews prepare to build the State Road 144 bridge over Interstate 69.

Starting late this week or early next week, trucks are scheduled to deliver and pump large amounts of concrete up to the new State Road 144 bridge over I-69. During this process, nighttime single-lane closures are expected on State Road 37 near State Road 144, according to an Indiana Department of Transportation weekly update.

Drivers should also prepare to slow down and move over for maintenance crews as daytime mowing continues in work zones as weather allows, INDOT officials say.

On the southside, new elevated I-69 pavement and bridges are expected to open midweek for southbound State Road 37 traffic. Southbound traffic will have access to Wicker Road using new entrance and exit ramps, but not to County Line Road east of State Road 37, according to INDOT officials.

The replacement of the Mann Road bridge of Interstate 465 is also coming up, with work expected to begin on after midway Sunday. Mann Road will be closed, but the I-465 ramps will remain open on either end. The official detour route will follow Thompson Road, High School Road and State Road 67/Kentucky Avenue, INDOT officials say.

There will also be nightly I-465 lane closures for bridge work near Madison Avenue.

In Morgan County, construction of the State Road 252 roundabout at Cramertown Loop is expected to start early week. State Road 252 is scheduled to close east of I-69 for one week and both State Road 252 and the Cramertown Loop will reopen when the roundabout is completed, INDOT. officials say
