Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County is searching for volunteers.
This pantry is serving record numbers of households needing food assistance, and has volunteer opportunities are open on weekdays, Monday through Friday.
Box truck drivers and unloaders are especially needed to pick-up donations in the morning. Other volunteers are needed 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help fill orders, stock shelves and assist with loading clients’ vehicles for the drive through process.
The work involves physical stamina by being on your feet, with moderate lifting for 4 hour shifts. Anyone interested and available can email [email protected].
