Edward and Sue (Battreall) Mears will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on August 18, 1972 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
Anniversary celebrations are a picnic with the family at Providence Park and a trip planned for next year.
Edward is retired from GM and Sue is retired from Center for Diagnostic Imaging.
The couple have two children, A. Ryan Mears, Lori Anne Johnson and eleven grandchildren.
