Trojans top Royals

Center Grove earned a comfortable 150-200 win over Roncalli at Hickory Stick on Tuesday. Sage Parsetich led the eighth-ranked Trojans with a 1-over-par 36, while Camille Short, Abby Rich and Rowen Pfeifle all finished their rounds at 38.

Boys tennis

Warriors slay Dragons

Whiteland blanked New Palestine on Tuesday, 5-0. Spencer Gillespie, Ty McCullars and Chase Koester picked up the three singles points for the Warriors (1-2), while Gavin Stubbe and Carson Baumann came out on top at first doubles and Jeremiah Hurt and Kai Koester did the same in the second spot.

Woodmen nipped by Falcons

Greenwood swept the two doubles matches but suffered a 3-2 loss to Perry Meridian. Aidyn Green and Blake Reynolds pulled out a three-set victory in the No. 1 spot for the Woodmen (1-1), while the No. 2 tandem of Ben Cruser and Devin Weidner won in straight sets.

Grizzly Cubs post shutout win

Griffin Atkison scored and also assisted on Zach Newton’s goal as Franklin picked up a 2-0 victory at Shelbyville on Tuesday evening. Adam Ott made a pair of saves to preserve the shutout for the Grizzly Cubs.

Lancers earn three-set victory

Gracie Crawhorn had 14 kills and 15 digs to lead Edinburgh to a 27-25, 25-16, 25-18 sweep of Jac-Cen-Del on Tuesday. MacKenzie Bieker added seven kills and 10 digs for the Lancers (3-1), while Kyah Streeval dished out 25 assists.

Trojans overtake Orioles

Center Grove rallied from a first-set defeat to finish off a 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-22 win at Avon. The Trojans improve to 3-2 overall with the victory.

Braves get into win column

Faith Wiseman’s 13 kills and five aces helped propel Indian Creek to a 25-21, 20-25, 25-13, 25-19 triumph over Waldron on Monday night. Mattie Key added 20 digs and 18 assists for the Braves (1-1).
