Boys tennis

Lancers edge Yellow Jackets

A singles sweep allowed Edinburgh to post a 3-2 victory over Morristown on Monday. Max Blandford, Austin Brockman and Milas Burkman each won in straight sets for the Lancers.

Woodmen sweep Cardinals

Greenwood lost just eight games overall in a 5-0 triumph over Southport. Noah Paswater, Carter Chatham and Ian Ratliff earned the singles points for the Woodmen (4-2), Aidyn Green and Blake Reynolds won at first doubles and Devin Weidner teamed with Will Davidson to win at No. 2 doubles.

Grizzly Cubs win three-way

Lexi Ray led all scorers with a 33 and Reese Phillips added a 36 as No. 7 Franklin coasted past Columbus East and Martinsville at The Legends on Monday. Addie Livorno and Morgan Sandrock rounded out the scoring at 40 and 44, respectively, for the Grizzly Cubs.

Warriors, Cougars defeated

Whiteland and Greenwood Christian fell short in a three-way match against University at The Legends. The Warriors, who finished with a team total of 213, were led by a 48 from Karley Hoagland and a 49 from Kylie McGovern. GCA posted a team score of 228.

Boys soccer

Grizzly Cubs blank Southport

Griffin Atkison scored a pair of goals in Franklin’s 4-0 win over Southport on Monday. Liam Clarke and Tyler Martz each added one score for the Grizzly Cubs (3-0), while Adam Ott made a pair of saves.

Girls soccer

Whiteland tops Red Devils

McKinley Garrett maintained a clean sheet in net as Whiteland shut out Pike on Monday, 2-0. Alexa LaPorte scored one goal and assisted on Emma Gill’s tally for the Warriors (2-2).
