GREENWOOD
Erika Hannemann, 85, of Greenwood, passed away on August 25, 2022. She was born on July 12, 1937 in Munich, Bavaria to the late Josef and Ella Hartmann.
She was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Greenwood 1st Ward.
Erika was an EMT/Paramedic and then a Registered Nurse across Indianapolis for 20 years until her retirement. She loved nursing.
She enjoyed motorcycle riding, knitting, Suduko, puzzles, cooking and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 11 years, John (Guy) Cheney.
She is survived by her husband, Konstantin; daughters, Debra Hollingsworth (Chris); step daughters, Silvia (Steve), Mariane (Charles), and Sandy (Toby), 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm until the service time of 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 900 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46227. She will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery.
