Braves eliminated by Northview

Indian Creek’s debut season came to an end with a 4-2 loss to Northview in the first round of the Class 2A Greencastle Sectional on Tuesday. The Braves (2-9) trailed 2-1 at halftime and got back to within 3-2 with about 15 minutes remaining in the match before coming up short.

Volleyball

Lancers swept by Jets

Edinburgh came up on the short end of a 25-13, 25-22, 25-17 match against Hauser on Tuesday. Gracie Crawhorn paced the Lancers in defeat with five kills, five blocks and 14 digs.

Royals fall to Bulldogs

Roncalli was beaten by Class 4A No. 7 Brownsburg, 25-22, 29-27, 25-27, 25-17. Aly Kirkhoff had 39 digs in defeat for the Royals (19-8).

Creek wins in four

Indian Creek defeated Cloverdale on Monday night, 25-7, 25-15, 22-25, 25-14. Grayson Burkett and Ava Myers combined for 14 service aces to lead the Braves (13-12, 6-3 WIC), while Kylie Lemmon had 10 kills. Seniors Lauren McClanahan and Savannah Hall helped raise $5,200 for breast cancer research through Dig Pink.
