GREENWOOD
James A Lattimore, 84, passed away on October 11, 2022. Jim was born to Otis Gerald and Margaret Lorene (Hicks) Lattimore on May 11, 1938. Jim graduated from Broad Ripple High School, Indiana Business College and served in the US Air Force. Jim worked for Allison Transmission as an analyst for 41 years and volunteered much of his time with the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and was a member of the Greenwood JC’s. Jim was a member of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple, where he sang in the choir, and loved the Lord above all else. Jim was very active in the church and school activities. Jim was an avid sports fan, particularly IU basketball, Indianapolis Colts, and IndyCar racing. He was also a vintage car enthusiast. Jim was devoted to his family and happiest when surrounded by the ones he loved.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Lorene Lattimore, son Stephen Lattimore, and sister Judy Lattimore.
Jim is survived by his wife Ann (Templeton) Lattimore, daughter Linda (Rob) Clark, daughter Debbie (Jimmy) Law, son Kevin (Ann) Jarrett, and brother Jerry (Sandy) Lattimore. 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Indianapolis Baptist Temple, 4002 E Southport Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237, from 11am-1pm. Funeral service will begin at 1 PM with a graveside service, including military honors, immediately following at the Greenwood Cemetery.
