Leadership Johnson County will host its second annual Women’s Retreat later this week.
The retreat will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Compass Park Event Center, 690 State St., Franklin. It will focus topics including positive psychology habits to reduce anxiety, setting boundaries at work and home, techniques to become more resilient and vulnerability, according to Leadership Johnson County.
Attendees will also hear from women who have overcome mental health challenges, and there will be opportunities for networking and learning other stress-reduction techniques.
The retreat costs $230 a person for LJC and Franklin College alumni, Franklin, Aspire Johnson County and Indy Chamber of Commerce members. It costs $250 for the general public.
