MaryAnn (White) Sisson, 84, of Franklin, IN and formerly of Trafalgar, IN passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community.
She was born November 18, 1938 in Trafalgar, IN to Arthur Frederick Lee White and Rettia Alma (Thompson) White. She married William Val “Bill” Sisson on August 31, 1958 at the Trafalgar United Methodist Church, he preceded her in death on February 2, 2009.
She was a 1957 graduate of Trafalgar High School and attended Indiana Central University now known as the University of Indianapolis.
MaryAnn had been an Office and Procurement manager for 42 years at the Rytex Company in Indianapolis, IN.
MaryAnn was a member of the Trafalgar United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Trafalgar Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 423 and the Women Purchasing Management Association in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her son W. Mark Sisson (Nancy) of Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter Suzanne D. Sisson (Tobias Nilsson) of London, England, granddaughters Emily Pearl Sisson (Shane Quinn) of Flagstaff, AZ, Annika Rose Sisson of Providence, RI, Arlene “Arla” Frances Sisson of Chicago, IL and Grace Ann Sisson of Pittsburgh, PA, nieces and nephews Jerry Dean White, Lewis N. Hughes, Randy White, Lynne Hughes Haste, Russella White Miller, Beverly White Teeters, Lain Hughes, Butch White, Nathan White, and Larry Hughes, several nieces and nephews of the Sisson Family and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family wishes to express their heart felt appreciation to Lynne Haste for the love and care extended to MaryAnn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers William “Webster” White, J. Kenneth White, Eugene White, sister Frances White Hughes, a nephew Ronnie White.
Pastors Doug Bohall and Mark Weatherman will conduct a service on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 6:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 3PM until service time at the mortuary.
