County Road 575 West was closed to all traffic between County Road 700 South and Horseshoe Road in Hensley Township effective Thursday for a construction project.
The exact closure location is in the 8500 block of CR 575 West, just north of Horseshoe Road.
Johnson County Highway Department is working on a culvert replacement in the area and expects the closure to last for approximately two weeks. Weather may impact the project duration, county highway officials say.
Through traffic can bypass the closure with the signed detour route that follows County Road 700 South, County Road 700 West and Horseshoe Road. Access to properties on County Road 575 West will remain available both north and south of the closure location, county highway officials say.
