Girls tennis

Trojans edge Fighting Irish

No. 14 Center Grove pulled out a 3-2 victory over ninth-ranked Cathedral in a match that began Monday and was concluded on Tuesday. Emerson Donaldson was a straight-set winner at No. 3 singles for the Trojans, while Ava Beecher and Lauren Dick were victorious at first doubles. Cathedral defaulted at No. 2 doubles.

Braves take care of Jets

Indian Creek earned a 4-1 win at Hauser. Reese Tunell and Kylie Lemmon were winners at second and third singles for the Braves (13-4), Olivia Perry and Addy Tunell earned a point at first doubles and the pair of Lanie Swanson and Alexa Sichting did the same in the second spot.

Lancers top Yellow Jackets

Edinburgh was a 4-1 winner over Morristown. Jessica Walsh and Izzy Richardson were victorious at first and third singles for the Lancers, who got doubles points from Gracie Myers and Jillian Turner at No. 1 and Lily Turner and Mia Dodson at No. 2.

Baseball

Edinburgh gets walk-off win

Edinburgh scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to snatch an 8-7 triumph from Crothersville on Tuesday. Dakota Graw drove in three runs for the Lancers, who also got two doubles and two RBIs from Jared Myers.

Softball

Lancers fall short in nine

Living Water Homeschool scored in the top of the ninth inning to come away with a 4-3 win at Edinburgh on Tuesday. MacKenzie Bieker, Gracie Barrett and Elizabeth Hernandez drove in runs for the Lancers.

Boys golf

Edinburgh picks up dual win

Wyatt Burton’s 41 paced Edinburgh in a win over Fortune Academy on Tuesday. Keegan Smith (46), Devyn Milburn (48) and Gabe Bennett (49) rounded out the scoring for the Lancers.
