Edward Williams (81) of Greenwood, passed away in his sleep at his home. His wife of 26 years, Wanda (Caraboa) Williams survives him. He was born to Herman and Ruth (White) Williams in Salem, Indiana. Edward was loved by Wanda’s children Jim Caraboa; Susy (Andy) Ferrand; Julia (Mark) Saltsgaver; Linda (Geoff) Colwell and Janet Caraboa. His children Tracy Williams, Angela Thompson and Brian Williams also survive along with his siblings Maysel Renaker, Evelyn Lloyd and Loren Williams. Edward and Wanda share numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Leathermon. Ed worked for Cummins for 40 years and served as an Army Reservist for six years. Ed was a very kind, quiet person who was devoted and loyal. He enjoyed working in his yard, caring for his car and talking with his family, friends and neighbors. He was an avid Pacers fan and enjoyed IndyCar and NASCAR races as well. A visitation will be held June 1, 2023, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN, from 1pm to 3pm. A funeral will immediately follow the visitation. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Ed would like memorial contributions to go to Franklin Cemetery in Salem Indiana where he served for a number of years, Donations can be sent to the cemetery sexton, Paul Elliot, 6598 E. Canton S.
