9:53 p.m. Friday – Johnson Ave. and Graham Road

Theft

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Asset Protection employee reported at 11:40 a.m. Saturday that a woman was skip scanning and ticket switching items, then tried to leave the store, she admitted she intended to take the items and a officer issued her a summons for theft and she was trespassed from the store.

Fraud

2000 block of Peck St.: Reported at 8:44 p.m. Saturday that a fraud had occurred.

1000 block of Spencer Drive: Reported at 11:25 a.m. Friday that a fraud had occurred.

Hit and Run

N. Madison Ave. and W. Broadway St.: Reported at 11:55 a.m. Saturday that a hit and run had occurred.

Residential Entry

1600 block of Haystack Court: Reported at 12:30 p.m. Sunday that a residential entry had occurred.

Thefts

750 U.S. 31, Tom O’Brien Chrysler: Reported at 2:45 p.m. Sunday that a Dodge Charger was stolen from the lot.

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 8:23 p.m. Saturday that a juvenile was trying to steal alcohol from the store.

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 6:11 a.m. Saturday that shoplifting had occurred.

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 10:11 p.m. Friday that a man was arrested for theft with prior conviction and wanted on multiple warrants from other counties.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 9:32 p.m. Friday the theft of clothing, trash cans and a broom had occurred.

Battery

Franklin Road and Rocklane Road, Greenwood: A Highway Department employee reported at 11:13 a.m. Friday that after stopping a vehicle so northbound traffic could turn around a man in the vehicle threw a unopened beer bottle at him, hitting him in the shoulder causing injury.

Criminal Mischief

6000 block of E. 350 N., Needham: A man reported at 12:24 p.m. Saturday that someone had ripped and broke the screens out of his two windows in his detached garage, they also caused damage to his vehicle parked inside and damaged the corner of the garage door.

Hit and Run

1000 block of E. County Road 175 N., Franklin: A woman reported at 4:27 p.m. Friday that someone had struck her farm fence and damaged approximately 20 feet of the metal fence and fence posts.

Narcotics

5300 block of W. County Road 350 S., Franklin: A officer reported at 3:21 p.m. Friday that during a traffic stop he observed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and after a search of the vehicle the driver was issued summonses for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended with prior conviction.

8:30 p.m. Friday – N. Franklin Road, Greenwood. Jody Curl, 52, Indianapolis. Curl reported having pain and injury to her back.

6:05 a.m. Friday – Old U.S. 31 and County Road 250 S., Franklin. Brandon Hollman, 44, Columbus. Hollman reported having pain and injury to his back. Ronald Piotrowski, 87, Flagstaff, Arizona. Piotrowski reported having an contusion/bruise with injury to his head.
