Randy Schafstall passed away peacefully with his children surrounding him at St Francis on August 3, 2023.
Randall Hugh Schafstall was born May 8, 1951 in Columbus, Indiana to parents Donald and Dorthy Schafstall. His sister, Jane Schafstall and brother, Robert Schafstall both proceeded him in death. He is survived by his brother Richard (Rick) Schafstall, his children Timothy Schafstall , Melissa Schafstall (Nightingale), Ross(Amanda)Schafstall, Reid Schafstall and by his three grandchildren:
Nicolas Nightingale, Ian Schafstall and Christian Schafstall.
Randy was a longtime favorite local barber at Larry’s Barber shop in Southport and later in Greenwood when he owned and operated Bill & Randy’s Barber Shop on 135.
Randy graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1970 and Indiana Barber School in Indianapolis. Randy was an avid hunter, fisherman and dog lover. In recent years, he battled several illnesses courageously and now has found his peace and freedom.
A Celebration of Life for Randy will be held on August 13 at the Willard in Franklin, Indiana from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please come to share memories and stories with the family and friends.
