FRANKLIN, IN.

Mark Alan Yohler, 80 of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 16, 1943, in Indianapolis, IN to Martin Joseph Yohler and Martha Jane (Duvall) Yohler. Mark married Deborah (Wright) Yohler on January 17, 1987, in Indianapolis, IN, she survives.

Mark was a graduate of Scecina Memorial High School in Indianapolis, IN.

He started his career in banking at Indiana National Bank in Indianapolis, IN and then continued his career at Family Horizons Credit Union (formerly Naval Avionics Credit Union) for 36 years retiring as CEO and President in 2002.

Mark had served in the Indiana National Guard.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mark enjoyed golfing, reading Civil War books, watching western TV shows and the music of legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years Deborah (Wright) Yohler of Franklin, IN, his children Patrick Yohler (Kelly) of Indianapolis, IN, Kay Rogers (Chadd) of Seymour, IN, Tia King (Scott) of Franklin, IN and Donald Cartwright (Bridget) of Indianapolis, IN, his grandchildren Abigail Yohler, Brooke Rogers, Cassandra Yohler, Daniel Yohler, Chase Rogers, Evan Rogers, Danny Cartwright, Ashley King and Dylan King, a brother Dennis Yohler (Terri) of Indianapolis, IN, sisters Barbara Schura of Indianapolis, IN and Patricia Petty (Paul) of Indianapolis, IN and sister-in-law Pam Yohler of Indianapolis, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Martin Joseph Yohler and Martha Jane (Duvall) Yohler, a brother Gary Yohler, brother-in-law Mike Schura and first wife Joan E. (Gruner) Yohler.

Father Tim DeCrane will conduct a service on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:15PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Friday, March 1, 2024, from 10AM until service time at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
