Franklin College students to display art in senior exhibition

Their college careers in art had been building to this moment.

The Franklin College Art Department will host its senior art exhibition from April 9 to April 19. Five senior art majors will display their work, as well as delivering short presentations about their work and their experience at Franklin during an opening reception.

The exhibit will be held in the Elba L. & Gene Portteus Branigin Atrium in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts, located at the corner of Branigin Boulevard and Grizzly Drive. The opening reception, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 9, is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Seniors showing in the exhibition include:

Eli Cochrane, an art studio — graphic design major with a minor in visual communications and an endorsement in digital fluency. Cochrane is a resident of Franklin.

Katie Brown, an art studio — ceramics major. Brown is a resident of Noblesville.

Garrett Fogle, a data science and studio art major with a minor in mathematics.. Fogle is a resident of Brownsburg.

Maddison Holubik, a digital photography major with a minor in visual communications. Holubik is a resident of Thorntown.

Katie Marshall, an art studio – ceramics, art studio – painting and art studio – graphic design major. Marshall is a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio.
