Warriors overwhelm Cardinals
Kiley Sullivan doubled, tripled and drove in four runs to help lead Whiteland to an 18-4 rout of Southport on Thursday. Kylie Matthews scored four runs for the Warriors (2-0), while Sullivan, Kaelyn Putnam and Joslynn Skaggs scored three times each and Maddy Myers had three RBIs.
Grizzly Cubs come up short
Franklin lost to Plainfield for a second straight day, taking a 12-1 defeat on Thursday. Adeline Blackwell had two hits and two stolen bases for the Grizzly Cubs (0-2, 0-2 Mid-State).
