NEW WHITELAND, INDIANA
Robin Rene Rice, 55, of New Whiteland, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Those who had Robin as a friend were blessed to have a lifetime of devoted friendship.
Always ready with a clever response, Robin was known and appreciated for her dry sense of humor and sharp wit.
She was a hard worker and enjoyed a long career in various manufacturing roles.
Robin was a lifelong advocate for the kind and ethical treatment of animals. She loved wildlife, and was especially fond of wolves. She adored her pets, most of whom were rescues.
Robin will be deeply missed by those who survive her: mother Barbara Rogers, siblings Andy Wolkoff (Vickie), Brenda Stroup (Brian), Catherine Doss (Bud), Shiela Scott (Leslie), numerous nieces and nephews, and her longtime companion Danielle Calhoun.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Robin’s memory to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 6:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home &Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 4:00pm until the service hour.
