Franklin

Theft

1800 Northwood Plaza Drive, Athens Restaurant: A woman reported at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday that she had left the keys inside the vehicle and it was stolen from behind the restaurant. The vehicle was later found and a man was arrested for theft of a vehicle, possession of marijuana and a minor in possession of alcohol.

Criminal Mischief

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday that a warrant was requested for a woman for criminal mischief.

1000 block of Doe Lane: Reported at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Fraud

895 S. State Road 135, Target: Reported at 8:22 p.m. Wednesday that a fraud had occurred.

Personal-injury crash

3:27 p.m. Tuesday – State Road 135 and Eau Claire Drive. A woman reported having pain and injury to her elbow/lower arm.

Property-damage crashes

5:55 p.m. Tuesday – 2157 Stacies Way, parking lot

10:57 a.m. Tuesday – U.S. 31 and Stop 18

Thefts

500 Park Ave.: Reported at 2:47 a.m. Thursday that a vehicle had been stolen.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 6:54 p.m. Wednesday that a man was arrested for theft and a out of county warrant and a woman was arrested for theft.

897 Airport Parkway, Greenwood Airport: Reported at 11:36 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.

Johnson County

Criminal Mischief

2000 block of Marina Court, Greenwood: A woman reported at 10:39 p.m. Wednesday that her police issued vehicle parked inside her garage had the front driver’s side tire was slashed on the sidewall.

Fraud

1091 Hospital Road, Johnson County jail, Franklin: A man reported at 2:54 p.m. Wednesday that he received a email from PayPal referencing a Bitcoin withdrawal and if he wanted to dispute the charges he should call this number. He called the number and the individual told him that to dispute the charges he needed to go and get gift cards then call them back with the numbers. After he purchased $2,000 of gift cards, he called and gave them the numbers, he then realized it was a scam and contacted his bank.

Narcotics

2600 Cumberland Drive, Franklin High School, Franklin: Reported at 9:28 a.m. Wednesday that a juvenile was caught with a vaping device and two THC vaping devices that tested positive for marijuana.
