Indiana State Police said a serious crash in the southbound lanes of I-65 about six miles south of Franklin closed all lanes for a time after 2:30 p.m., but one southbound lane has since reopened on the interstate.

A serious crash has closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 65 south of Franklin.
The crash was reported Wednesday afternoon near mile-marker 84. This is six miles south of the Franklin exit at State Road 44, Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine said in a post on X.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at State Road 44, Perrine said. I-65 southbound is expected to be blocked for the next two hours, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
