Letter: Donnelly has not lived up to expectations

To the editor:

Vote for Sen. Joe Donnelly? Are you kidding?

Sen. Joe Donnelly is asking Hoosiers to send him back to Washington.

Simple reasons for why not to are:

For five years, we heard virtually nothing from Mr. Donnelly. Now he comes out of the woodwork saying he is for Hoosiers. Really Joe? Let’s see.

Mr. Donnelly says he is willing to work with those across the aisle, but has voted consistently against Republican bills. He has voted "yes" for every Democratic bill.

Mr. Donnell, as does the democratic party, wants to continue to protect law breakers who have willfully violated our immigration laws and brag about it. We already have procedures to enter the United States and become U.S. citizens if the immigrants want to. He does not understand this and continues to defend the illegal acts.

Mr. Donnelly says he is for the middle class. Where were you during the Obama years? More welfare for the lower class. The middle class got poorer, Joe. I bet you did not.

Mr. Donnelly where are your ideas for making American great again? Where are your ideas for putting Americans back to work?

So please Mr. Donnelly, do not ask us to re-elect you. You have not lived up to our expectations.
