<p><strong>Heck wins local qualifier</strong></p>
<p>Alex Heck, who just finished his sophomore season at Center Grove, shot a 1-under-par 70 to win his age group at the Indiana South District Optimist International Junior Golf Qualifier at Deer Creek Golf Course last weekend. </p>
<p>Heck earned a spot in the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida late next month.</p>
