<p>County residents can attend an event with IU’s baseball coach.</p>
<p>The Johnson County Chapter of the IU Alumni Association is hosting Jeff Mercer from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Pavilion, 186 W. Jefferson St., Franklin.</p>
<p>A county resident, Mercer will speak about his journey to the head coaching spot of a Division I school, and the triumphs and tragedies that he has encountered along the way.</p>
<p>Cost is $15 for members of the Alumni Association, $20 for non-members, and $10 for children under 12</p>
