<p>Boys soccer</p><p><strong>Rebels win sectional title</strong></p><p>William Bawi headed in the lone goal of the match in the sixth minute as Roncalli edged Perry Meridian, 1-0, in the championship game of the Class 3A Center Grove Sectional on Saturday evening. Vince Agramonte assisted on Bawi’s tally for the Rebels (12-5-2) and Daniel Woodruff registered the shutout in goal.</p><p>Girls soccer</p><p><strong>Rebels fall to Fighting Irish</strong></p><p>Roncalli was defeated by Cathedral, 2-0, in the Class 2A Roncalli Sectional championship match on Saturday.</p><p><strong>Woodmen cap inaugural season</strong></p><p>Greenwood Middle School wrapped up its first season of play with a 7-2 record after dropping a 1-0 match against Plainfield in the Mid-State Conference finals. The Woodmen outscored their opponents this season, 37-10.</p><p>Volleyball</p><p><strong>Roncalli splits at Lawrence North tournament</strong></p><p>Roncalli wrapped up its regular season with four matches at Lawrence North on Saturday. The Rebels beat Blackhawk Christian and New Albany in two sets each but lost to Westfield and Franklin Central.</p><p>Franklin College</p><p><strong>Men’s soccer rallies for victory</strong></p><p>Jordan Thomas scored a pair of goals in the final 20 minutes to help Franklin College to a 2-1 comeback win over Bluffton on Saturday. Jake Hendricks had six saves for the Grizzlies (3-9, 1-2 HCAC).</p><p><strong>Women’s soccer thumps Bluffton</strong></p><p>After falling behind by a goal early, Franklin College roared back with six consecutive goals on the way to a 7-2 rout of Bluffton on Saturday. Maddie Fleet had four goals for the Grizzlies (5-6-1, 2-1 HCAC), who also got scores from Emma Myers, Jalynn Gorman and Lauren Schuld.</p><p><strong>Volleyball manages weekend split</strong></p><p>Abby Sewell totaled 34 kills as Franklin College bounced back from a five-set loss to Earlham with a sweep of Kalamazoo on Saturday. </p>
