<p>Boys basketball</p><p><strong>Trojans overpower Grizzly Cubs</strong></p><p>All 12 players who suited up got into the scoring column for Center Grove in a lopsided 68-20 home win over Franklin on Saturday night.</p><p>Landin Hacker paced the Trojans (3-1) with 10 points, followed closely by Ethan McComb with nine points and Charlie Bemis and Ethan Jones with eight each. Carson Hunter led the Grizzly Cubs (0-4) with seven.</p><p><strong>Lancers remain perfect</strong></p><p>Four players scored in double digits as Edinburgh stayed unbeaten with a 62-36 road win over North Decatur. Travis Jones scored 18 points for the Lancers (5-0), followed by Caleb Dewey with 16, Isaac Roberts with 13 and Noah Detling with 10.</p><p><strong>Warriors prevail in double OT</strong></p><p>Logan Willoughby poured in a game-high 26 points and Whiteland got into the win column with a 74-68 double-overtime win over Roncalli. The Warriors (1-2) came out on top despite 23 points from Roncalli’s Anthony Donahue.</p><p><strong>Cougars win at Lutheran</strong></p><p>Greenwood Christian grabbed a big lead early and held off a fourth-quarter charge to earn a 65-55 victory at Indianapolis Lutheran. Blake Shewmaker and Isaiah Davis each scored 15 points for the Cougars (2-2), while Styles McCorkle contributed 10.</p><p>Girls basketball</p><p><strong>Grizzly Cubs keep rolling</strong></p><p>Kuryn Brunson’s 26 points helped power visiting Franklin to a 62-44 win over Plainfield. Lauren Klem added 14 points for the Grizzly Cubs (7-0, 2-0 Mid-State).</p><p>Wrestling</p><p><strong>Trojans second at Zionsville</strong></p><p>Center Grove was the runner-up at the Zionsville Invitational on Saturday, losing only to third-ranked Chesterton. Charlie LaRocca (106 pounds), Reese Courtney (113), Riley Rust (152) and Drake Buchanan (182) were all 4-0 on the day for the Trojans.</p><p><strong>Grizzly Cubs fare well at Calumet</strong></p><p>Taking on three top-10 teams in a day at the Calumet Invitational, Franklin defeated No. 9 Portage 51-20 and nearly defeated No. 2 Cathedral, losing 32-28. The Grizzly Cubs, who also lost to top-ranked Crown Point, got three victories each from Tyler Fuqua, Jalen Ward and Harris Eason.</p>
